Chiyozuru Nobukuni (1896-1978), who's real name is Ochiai Uichi, is the student of Chiyozuru Korehide (Chiyozuru I). He is also known as Chiyozuru III (Chiyozuru II is Korehide's son, Taro). For more information about the Chiyozuru blacksmiths (Korehide, Nobukuni, and Sadahide I), see Toshio Odate's "Japanese Woodworking Tools - Their Tradition, Sprit, and Use".
With the Koreaki plane, Chiyozuru Nubukuni signed his work as Sen-Sandai. Apparently, a blacksmith who was not a student of Chiyozuru Korehide had registered the trademark of Chiyozuru with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Nobukuni was asked to stop using the Chiyozuru trademark. It is believed the works under the name Sen-Sadai represents his more recent works. Thanks go to Tomohito Iida for providing some of the information.
