Chutaro Imai is known for his line of Fujihiro chisels. These are the sword steel variety which were ordered through Kayoko of Misugi Designs. Handles are made of tagayasan (rosewood family). These arrived directly from Imai-san's shop. The 1.5mm was supposed to be an oire-nomi (bench chisel) but arrived as an atsu-nomi (timber chisel) instead. Oh well, no matter.
Size: 1.5mm and 30mm
Steel Type: ??? Need to check with Kayoko one of these days.
