In order to complete the gate project before the Fall semester begins, Jay decided that we need to get together during the summer to wrap up the work. There's still quite a bit of work left before we are ready for the site installation. Highlights from today's class:

• 2007/06/22 Phil, Bob, and Jay came on a Friday for a kickoff session. We spent most of the day taking the timber out of storage and painting the end grains and chamfers.
• 2007/06/23 Manny joined us today. We test-fitted the parts, oiled them, and dressed up some of the pieces.
